The Therapy Thermometer transforms a simple verbal check-in into a hands-on, visually engaging experience. Designed for youth who are quiet, irritable, hesitant to talk, or very young, it provides a gentle, non-intrusive way to gauge internal states without relying solely on words.
 
The front features an Intensity Thermometer to help track mood, emotional activation, or the strength of an internal experience. The reverse side includes a customizable 0–10 scale that can be tailored to the child’s goals, symptoms, or therapeutic focus.
 
This tool is ideal for teaching emotion intensity, helping children understand their internal cues, and supporting them in connecting thoughts and situations to their feelings. It works well in traditional therapy, play therapy, EMDR, and other trauma models.
